Our core strength
Batter & Breading Machines
Coating is our specialty. We build every machine of the coating line — predust, batter and breading — in matching widths, so they work as one system.

Choose by coating step

DLS200 3D Batter & Breading MachineCoats spherical, cylindrical and irregular products that flat breaders miss: oysters, eggs, butterfly shrimp and skewered items.View details →How a batter and breading line works
Most coated products pass three steps. Predusting dries the surface and gives the batter something to hold. Battering adds a wet layer that glues the crumbs. Breading adds the final crunchy layer. For thick tempura-style coatings, the product may go straight from the batter applicator to the fryer.
- Preduster — flour layer (SFJ series, or GFJ600 drum)
- Batter applicator — dipping for thick batter (NJJ) or curtain for thin batter (LJJ)
- Breading machine — free-flowing crumbs (SXJ), fresh and panko crumbs (XXJ), irregular shapes (DLS200), bite-size pieces (GFJ600 drum)
- Continuous fryer — sets the coating (BKL series)

FAQ
What is the difference between battering and breading?
Batter is a wet coating of flour, starch and water; breading is a dry coating of crumbs applied over the batter. Battering glues the crumbs to the product, and the crumbs give the crunchy texture.
Do all your coating machines have the same belt widths?
Our predusters, batter applicators and breaders are built in matching widths (for example 400 mm and 600 mm) so they can be connected into one line.
Can you supply a complete coating line?
Yes. We supply the whole line from forming to frying and design the layout for your factory.
Not sure which machine fits your product?
Send us your raw material. We test it on our machines for free and share the video and results with you.
